Tree Plantation by SSSSE Children

In honour of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's centenary celebrations in 2025, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council has launched an initiative to beautify mother Earth by planting 10 million trees Globally.

The Sai Organisation of New Zealand is always on the lookout for new ways to spread its message of Love and Service. Here came the opportunity for ‘Tree Plantation’ locally in Auckland. This time, however, the concept of "Service of Love" in the service of Mother Earth was also presented to youngsters.

On Saturday, 18 August 2023, (10 am – 12 noon), members of the Sai Organisation of New Zealand were invited to participate in a tree planting event on Redoubt Rd., Auckland.

Nearly 400 plants were planted by Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual Education (SSSSE) children, their parents, the SSSSE teacher, and a few other adults

The Auckland Park Ranger Kora and Sister Pragya delivered a quick presentation and demonstration on environmental, plantation, and pest management. The children were asked a few plantation-related questions. However children breezed through every question with flying colours. 20 adults and 15 children participated.
